Submission Instruction for IEEE WoWMoM 2007
Old information! Please check updated author information page
Only original papers that have not been previously published or are not currently under review by another conference or journal must be considered for submission.
Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts must be formatted according to the IEEE double-column standard format with 10-point font size for texts. Authors should use only standard fonts, i.e., Times Roman, Courier, Symbol, and Helvetica, or their equivalent. The IEEE LaTeX and Microsoft Word style files can be found at the IEEE site (IEEE's Conference Publishing Service by choosing "information for authors" and "formatting"). This site also reports additional formatting instructions on how to use the relevant style files.
The recommended size for submitted papers is from 5 to 8 pages (double-column, 10 point). We enforce a maximum length of the manuscripts for full papers: 9 pages, including all text, figures, tables and references. We remark that this is a hard requirement: papers whose size exceeds such a maximum limit will be considered for immediate rejection, despite their technical quality.
All papers must be submitted in PDF (Portable Document Format). Other formats (e.g., ps, doc, tex, etc.) are not acceptable.
Submission Instructions
Papers can be submitted until 23:59pm EST, November 19, 2006. Paper submission is managed through EDAS (http://edas.info/5019). The EDAS conference ID is 5019. If you don't have an EDAS account, please create one first. The IEEE WoWMoM 2007 submission form can also be accessed as follows: i) login in EDAS with your user/password; ii) click on "submit papers", iii) look for IEEE WoWMoM 2007 entry in the table; iv) access the conference submission form.
Accepted Papers
The submissions will be reviewed for technical merits and relevance to the conference. Accepted papers will be classified in three categories:
- extended papers (to be presented in single-track sessions)
- regular papers (to be presented in double-track sessions)
- posters (to be presented in poster sessions).
All these three paper categories will be published in the conference proceedings. The exact formatting instructions and templates for the accepted papers will be directly emailed to the corresponding author by the IEEE Publications office. Extended papers will be given the opportunity to exploit up to the maximum page count, i.e., 9, at no extra charge. Regular and poster papers will have a maximum page count lower than 9. Nevertheless, authors will be given the possibility to increase the number of printed pages by contributing with an over-length charge.
Each paper MUST have one regular (non-student) registration. The author registration deadline is the same as the camera-ready version submission deadline.
