Information about the Course
The idea of the course is to develop in cooperation with students from Taideteollinen korkeakoulu and Arcada working beta prototypes of future IPTV/digiTV programme concepts using game-like features.
The pedagogical aims of the course are
- to implement and produce a complex production from scratch till beta phase
- to learn to work in a multidisciplinary project
The lectures are provided by the participating universities and thus the lectures will be given in different location around the Helsinki area.
Course language is English.

Passing the course
Passing the Course requires attending the lectures and participating in the group exercices as well as in the production of demos.
Grading will depend on the participation of individual students to
- The lectures in Fall 2007
- The pitching and the assignments
- The final demo production (each university will grade its own students)
and on the quality of the assignments, of the pitches and of the demos.
The request for a student to enroll to the course:
Knowledge of production process for video and web,
T-111.4003, T-111.5005 and 111.5007 or equivalent skills
(must be shown to the staff).
