Current

In fall 2004, the topic of the course is web service technologies. The idea is to study more thoroughly the current and emerging technologies behind so called web services. The objective is to take a scientific approach and write high-quality conference papers about various pre-assigned topics. The papers are prepared in groups of two students. In addition, more senior post-graduate students act as tutors for a couple of groups. Both students and tutors would get credits from the course.

The conference papers are presented in a workshop at the end of course. In addition, the papers are published in Internet and as course proceedings. Finally, the best papers will be submitted to real scientific conferences. Thus, both the students and their tutor will get an addition to their publication list, if the paper is accepted.
